The Challenge

LMC Utilities had the expertise and the accreditations, NERS, Safe Contractor and Achilles, to compete for national-scale civils contracts. Their website didn’t reflect any of it. A basic site with little authority or content meant they were barely visible in a niche, high-value market, and what traffic they did get came from people searching for small, local groundworks, not the substation, EV charging and renewable energy infrastructure work they were actually built for.

The brief was to close that gap: build a site with the content depth and technical foundation to support genuine SEO authority, and to position LMC alongside national grid-tier contractors rather than the local civils firm down the road.

The Approach

Evidence Over Claims

Rather than generic statements about quality and reliability, we built the site around real delivery: reviews given prominent placement, and language and imagery drawn directly from actual projects rather than stock claims.

Proof, Not Paperwork

We moved NERS, SafeContractor, and Achilles badges out of the footer and into high-visibility content blocks. For procurement teams and principal contractors who filter by accreditation first, these credentials are now impossible to miss.

Built for Buyers, Not Bots

We replaced a single, generic “civils contractor” page with four in-depth service pages. Written to modern SEO standards, each page directly targets its specific audience—from DNOs and ICPs to principal contractors.

The Results

"Thank you. The website looks amazing, I'm really happy with it.”"

What This Means for Your Business

If your expertise and accreditations outweigh what your website lets on, you’re filtering yourself out of contracts you’re actually qualified for. Getting found is the first hurdle. Fast, full indexing and credible content from day one is what gets a specialist contractor in front of the buyers making six and seven-figure decisions, not just the ones searching for a quick local job.
